Break the Resistance

Optimal health.

What is optimal health? What does that mean to you? Why do you want optimal health? If you had optimal health, what could you do now that you currently can’t? What would that mean to you?

Are you young and starting out in life with dreams, hopes and aspirations? Are you raising kids and you want to have the energy to keep up with them? Maybe you’re on the other side of all of that and you want to better the world in the form of a book, painting or teaching a grandchild to achieve their dreams.

In order to do anything, you need to be around. It helps to have the energy to get up in the morning and put pen to paper or brush to canvas. You don’t need to be perfect, just good enough. Good enough to be able to take the first step and then the step after that.

Maybe I can help. I coach holistically because there seems to be one of four topics that derail people and keep them from achieving optimal health - nutrition, movement, recovery and mindfulness. Key to all of this is a concept taught by Steven Pressfield in his book The War of Art. It’s something called resistance.

Resistance is real, it’s ever-present, it’s debilitating and it’s out to win. Realizing what it is, and how to spot it, is half the battle. With my coaching we will set out to discover its true nature in you. I’ll show you how you can spot your own resistance and steps you can take to overcome it. You're going to wish you started yesterday, but you’re here now - so let’s have some fun breaking the resistance!
